even and especially when the fit looks bad and actively makes someone look worse. like if it’s so tight each roll is sticking out and your belly button is fully outlined, it’s not flattering. but if they acknowledge that then they’re fatphobic
scalding hot take of the day: a lot of people use toxic positivity to feel like better people when it comes to plus size bodies. if the outfit is accentuating parts that look weird, ppl say it’s cute bc they want to feel like they’re “body positive”

all I am saying is that we should be able to acknowledge that some clothes are flattering on different body types without that having a moral stance attached to it, bc this is resulting in ppl giving bad fashion advice bc they’re too afraid of being cancelled if they say something is not flattering

if you don’t care if something is flattering/looks good on you, I’m sure you’re very cool and different than the other girls but also pretty clearly not what I am talking about here
