So I work a job from home and it’s min wage, $15. The thing is, it’s not so dependable, my hrs can get cut, there is no overtime, i genuinely hate it. Then there is a job 20 min away, more work, dependable, but only pays $17-20. Idk what to do (1)

Also I’m moving in January, so lowkey I want an online job. At the same time, I’m premed so I want a job at the hospital so I can shadow doctors. At the same time I don’t need clinical hrs, I worked at another hospital for a year. The new hospital job is $17-20.

I have heard that this hospital is very understaffed and I did the whole hospital thing a while ago, I don’t wanna do it again because I don’t need it

I’ve also applied to other jobs, do I wait to hear back? Some are online, some are research jobs that i actually need, rather than clinical hrs

When did you apply and when would they get back to you by?

The issue is I’ve been applying all month long, even in late August. The thing is, out of all the jobs I’ve applied to, this is the one I don’t want. Only because I don’t need more clinical hrs. It’s a phlebotomist position at a hospital that is understaffed and owned by a company. I used to be a cna, this screams understaffed and underpaid, I don’t think that’s enough for just shadowing hrs

truly hate to be the one to tell you this but the job market is shit right now in a loooot of fields. I know someone in finance who’s sent out over 600 applications over the last year and has only gotten interviews in unrelated fields. unless there’s a deadline where you have to decide ASAP and you’re waiting on something specific, it’s best to just take what you can get

Yeah truth be told, I just got a used but new car and while I have had a license for 3 years, idk if I know how to drive well because I haven’t. I like the convenience of an online job because of that and I get to be in pjs
