I started one product at a time. Acned teenage skin with just blush then started adding more so I could look acne free in my senior pics.

Eyeshadow & mascara & clear lipgloss, then try some concealer blush and contour, then you can go into lip colors and lipsticks.

Start with neutral eyeshadows like warm browns and light pink shimmers for highlights on your eyes. It takes a little practice to get the hang of it but look at photos of people with similar tones to you and their basic makeup styles!

But also, if you don’t like wearing it and don’t want to, you don’t need to at all. Makeup doesn’t make you more or less mature or professional at all.
