thinking I’m pregnant after my ex and I break up and suddenly lactating… taking a test and it’s negative but all other symptoms. Losing my mind…. Turns out it’s a medication I take that makes me fake pregnant 🙂‍↕️

I haven’t gotten one in like two months and I’ve been on it for 9ish months but I also started a new birth control recently so I’m not sure what the culprit is for no periods! I’m in love with not having them though

Yeah when I was on it, I didn’t get my period. It raises prolactin which can prevent ovulation since high prolactin can decrease estrogen levels. I’d ask to get your prolactin levels tested as you stay on it because chronically high prolactin can cause a myriad of health issues

It can cause temporary infertility and increase your risk of osteoporosis (since estrogen is crucial for bone health)

It can also just cause more acute side effects like breast soreness and brain fog
