hiii! quick question. i have a 3.59 gpa as a bio major and i just finished my freshman year. if i get A’s in both of my summer classes and all of my fall sem classes, ill be around a 3.73. is this okay as a premed? i’m a little lost so ANYTHING helps 🫶🏻
There’s ppl I know who have lower gpas that have gotten in. Grades are important but clinical experience, a good mcat score , and strong letters of rec will probably care you further. Esp if the end schools you’re applying too use a holistic process

i’m ngl, it’s not great. BUT it’s not the end of the world, make sure your extracurriculars and mcat are super strong to balance out, and make sure to be in contact with ur premed advisor! you’ve got this.

Bonus if you do undergrad research or are able to get something published through a lab on campus
