Hot take children deserve to be in public places: BUT that doesn’t mean your children should be a disturbance to public places. Parent your children because they soon become adults. It’s like leash training a dog

literally i had a breakdown in a restaurant the other day because this lady’s two kids were banging on the back of my seat, reaching over and pulling on my partner’s hair, screaming, and throwing things over the booth and the moms wouldn’t do jack shit about it even though we told them to get their kids and had to move seats. the absent parenting is out of control these days. i’m not mad the kids were doing kid shit, but i am mad mom didn’t do jack shit about them assaulting us 😐

Seriously people hate on kids so much these days, but it’s not their fault. It’s their parents. Their parents don’t teach them how to behave right and the kids get all the consequences, and it’s ridiculous.

Kids are not tiny adults. They’re going to have outbursts as their brains are developing. They will cause disturbances. Parents not doing anything to support their children is the problem. Nit the babies doing things babies do

it's not too serious everyone realizes kids act like this just enforce some discipline and no one judging you

Me and my siblings were able to play with toys, talk with our parents, and eat our food while not making a mess and screaming in public.

I used to work at a restaurant and a toddler sat there squealing like “AH……….AH………..AH” FOR THREE HOURS. I had to take ibuprofen

That’s what I’m saying. Parents need to properly teach their children to behave in public. Obviously they will have moments like tantrums ect. But most parents remove the kid from the area so they can process their emotions In a more private area. My brother had ODD growing up as a baby so I’ve personally seen many emotional meltdowns

I’m not talking about babies. Children includes 0-10. More than half of those included in this age range are not babies 4-10 year olds aren’t babies

Ok but also kids make noises because they’re kids. They cry when they fall down and they laugh. It’s not something that should or can be disciplined

Girl when have I said kids can’t make noise? I said kids can. your kid CANT spread syrup everywhere, SCREAM for no reason other than to shriek, and overall be a disturbance. People understand children will be children. But there’s a difference bc a child being a child, and a parent completely neglecting to teach their children to behave in a public setting. You have to teach children. You HAVE TO TEACH CHILDREN. Because they are LEARNING to be adults

You can discipline kids things like “let’s use our inside voice” “let’s color on the mat and not the table” “eat over your plate” “we don’t run in restaurants we sit” “it’s _ turn to talk you will have your turn once they are done” Are all things children should be taught because those are basic things humans learn. And your children can still have fun, color, talk, laugh, enjoy a meal, while doing those things

I mean I was mainly replying to #4s post but. And ur gonna just love when I say this. Im one of the people you were talking about. I hate children they annoy the fuck out of me while also having this common knowledge. It drives me insane when a child makes noises. I hate being in the general vicinity of them. Regardless of it being something that can or can’t be taught.

Okay but if you hate a baby for crying, that’s your problem, not the kid. It can’t control that either. You may want to look into getting some patience and grace for the people you share the world with

my siblings had a tendency to run off in different directions. they were actually just leashed to each other because they couldn’t coordinate well enough to get anywhere like that

Exactly, if anything I’m judging you letting your 5 year old kick someone’s seat at a movie theater bc “he’s only 60 months old” type excuse (ik it’s an extreme line)
