literally i had a breakdown in a restaurant the other day because this lady’s two kids were banging on the back of my seat, reaching over and pulling on my partner’s hair, screaming, and throwing things over the booth and the moms wouldn’t do jack shit about it even though we told them to get their kids and had to move seats. the absent parenting is out of control these days. i’m not mad the kids were doing kid shit, but i am mad mom didn’t do jack shit about them assaulting us 😐
That’s what I’m saying. Parents need to properly teach their children to behave in public. Obviously they will have moments like tantrums ect. But most parents remove the kid from the area so they can process their emotions In a more private area. My brother had ODD growing up as a baby so I’ve personally seen many emotional meltdowns
Girl when have I said kids can’t make noise? I said kids can. your kid CANT spread syrup everywhere, SCREAM for no reason other than to shriek, and overall be a disturbance. People understand children will be children. But there’s a difference bc a child being a child, and a parent completely neglecting to teach their children to behave in a public setting. You have to teach children. You HAVE TO TEACH CHILDREN. Because they are LEARNING to be adults
You can discipline kids things like “let’s use our inside voice” “let’s color on the mat and not the table” “eat over your plate” “we don’t run in restaurants we sit” “it’s _ turn to talk you will have your turn once they are done” Are all things children should be taught because those are basic things humans learn. And your children can still have fun, color, talk, laugh, enjoy a meal, while doing those things
I mean I was mainly replying to #4s post but. And ur gonna just love when I say this. Im one of the people you were talking about. I hate children they annoy the fuck out of me while also having this common knowledge. It drives me insane when a child makes noises. I hate being in the general vicinity of them. Regardless of it being something that can or can’t be taught.
