So fellow girls I need some advice or ideas maybe? My therapist said I need to come up with a list of short term goals for myself because I only have long term ones like a degree- any ideas? The only one I have is not biting my nails but I need more! 1/2
Do you exercise? That could be a good one. When I was in therapy one of my big things was making sure I got a few outdoor walks a week in cause of the way sunshine and exercise helps mental health.

Learn a new language! You don’t have to become fluent, even just learning a few new words a day will give you something to work toward

Oh that’s a lovely idea!! What kind of hobby do you think, I cook, and read and do art and volunteer so maybe something that doesn’t have to do with those things

i think art has a ton of different avenues, there’s pottery, painting, crochet, jewelry making, glasswork, digital, making music, etc etc. so that’s really what i would explore more personally

I used to spend a lot of time on different kind of art before my anxiety got bad and I got busy and I found so much joy and comfort in it- I think you’re absolutely right I should make it a goal to spend more time on it, thank you!

I’m realizing slowly through peoples ideas and comments how many things I used to do that I at somepoint stopped and don’t remember when- I used to go hiking almost every morning at least two miles I loved it I don’t know when I stopped
