
Step 1: trim as close as you can with clean scissors. Step 2: sit warm water to soften the hair & open the hair follicles. Step 3: exfoliate. Step 4: shave the direction ur hair grows (typically down), then shave left to right, then right to left, then shave up. (I use shave oil rather than cream or gel) Step 5: run cold water over the area to close the pores :)
I’ll keep it real with you bc you deserve truth! It is going to hurt, especially that first time. BUT the more you do it the less intense it becomes AND I personally think the results are worth the few moments of pain. I dont get ingrowns anymore, my hair has thinned out down there sooooo much, you won’t get that 5 o’clock stubble the same day like you would w shaving. I will say btwn waxing appointments I am just rocking full bush, I refuse to shave
