why do men love to say “I love you” so early in the relationship?? My ex kept asking if it was the right time to say it after I kept saying no to him and then he sent me a reel saying ily so I just gave up and started saying it back 🙄

Nah, if you don’t feel ur ready, DONT do it. My bf (3 months) kept asking me if he could say it too, granted it’s his first relationship. But I still don’t say it back and I feel sm better ab it that way, safe even. I’ll just give him a kiss or something instead as a response to acknowledge that’s how he feels and I’m still right there with him

That’s so valid. Imo tho, I say ily to friends I’ve only known like 6 months. It’s more ab me knowing and feeling how compatible we are. Plus, I do want them to know I care about them a lot, lwk what love is. So if the moods rly nice and everything’s just been rly productive or awesome, I won’t mind saying it for those special moments if it’s early on (albeit still at least 3 months lol).
