Don’t be afraid to say if it hurts bc the pain is way worse than being numb for a few hours

They will give you some kind of topical anesthetic before they use the syringe to numb the area with a local anesthetic. I have a fear of needles (not extreme, but enough to give me vertigo) so trying to get past the fact that there is a syringe in my mouth right now is the hardest part. But I have gotten multiple cavities filled and a root canal. You can do it!

They’re gonna numb ya, then they’re gonna basically “pick n dig” to remove the bad part then they’re gonna insert a filling gel type of thing (it’s kinda like resin bc it needs to cure) and then polish it up

Oh and then test it where you practice biting down and they fix it as needed

I’d also like to ass on the night drilling in your tooth which can be werid at frost but since you’re numb you just feel a pressure

Wow I fucked that up so bad I’m literally going to rephrase it, I would like to add that they might drill in your tooth which can be weird at first but since you are numb you just feel a pressure (I’m high forgive me)

Oh and depending on location they’re gonna put weird cylinder cotton balls in your mouth and also if you ever need to get double numbed it will be difficult to know if you moved your mouth/tongue
