I know edu girls that got internships/jobs in other fields ur major does not determine ur job!! Start looking for experience in what u wanna do. I’m in the same boat but I decided I wanted to be a teacher too late to switch lol so I’ll have to do an alt cert program and only qualify for it in my state so I get the feeling but soo many ppl change their minds way later on queen

Yes! Talk with your advisor and another one in the major you may want to consider and do your own research also. I can also say that FAFSA pays up to $2500 in the summer time for classes. If you find a cheap summer school you could take some credits there to prevent extra years. FAFSA also pays for 6 years of school if that helps or if you didn’t know.

Change your major! It may be an extra year but it’s better than wasting your money on something you don’t want to do.

I feel like we are often pressured into finishing within 4 years even though only less than half of undergraduate students finish within 4 years.

if i stayed as a edu major id graduate in 2027 which a year extra so i have no problem “being out of the norm” its my bank account that has the problem

See options that you can choose from with your current credits. Do you receive the Pell grant?

i do, i receive every type of grant/funding you could think of. i was trying to see all the credit i have an see what i could possibly do
