job question!!!: i’m up for an assistant marketing coordinator position, what should i ask for on salary?? they said there isn’t a specific range so idk what to do!!

Not having a range is lowkey a red flag cuz why don’t they know that? But look at similar postings in your area, or honestly just say what you want! Worst they can do is counter with their real offer

they said they don’t have a range and they wanted to hear my thoughts cause they’ve never had this position before; it’s def making me nervous! and i looked at similar ones and it was a 20k difference 😓 it was 42-62 so idk what to do!

i’ve made $22/hr before (so 42ish/yr) so i was hoping for a bit more since i’ll have a college degree now… would 50 be a hard ask? or more? or less?

Ask on the higher end! In your brain, decide the lowest offer you’ll take, and then if/when they counter, you can say if it’s too low for you or not
