Maybe I’m too woke. But am I the only one who gets a weird vibe when anytime a chubby/midsized woman posts herself looking cute and the comments are all like “omg they would have loved you in *time period*”? I get the sentiment, but still.

I think it really depends, if the trans person is early in their transition I think it’s kind of sweet as they probably aren’t as used to being gendered and can feel nice with that but there are other ways to do that with gendered language that come off more natural and after they’re past a certain point with their transition it gets weird

It’s hard because I agree with you. But for some people I think it does come from a place of wanting to be affirming? They just are doing too much. The dolls understand that a compliment from another woman is a compliment.
