i also hate being otp and people don’t understand but being forced into conversation where i’m not given time to think and it’s supposedly important is ANNOYING

I feel this also in the workplace. Why are you pulling me away from my actual work to sit in a room with everyone else so you can say 4 sentences, ask if there’s any questions, and be met with total silence. Like you couldn’t send an email that said “our website to clock in is being updated but your logins and the interface will stay the same. Email me with any questions.” Why did we need a meeting for this???

I understand in some circumstances. Some news should be delivered via voice. Or face to face. And not to also be an asshole but #1 if you can’t have a face to face convo because you need time to think you might want to work on that
