Why is it that I can’t sleep through the night in my comfy bee in the dark but I get to the office and I can hardly stay awake sitting at my desk with hard fluorescent lighting??

Hard fluorescent lighting tends to be hard on the eyes, promoting blinking/eyes closing. Also, if you’re sleep deprived, you’re more likely to fall asleep doing a boring task that distracts your mind (like working at a desk)
