That relationship was just really icky to me and I felt pressured to do things I didn’t want to do (not going into detail). So since then I’ve completely rejected any opportunities I could’ve had to start something new especially with men, but it seems like men are the only people into me so… I feel like I don’t have a choice but to get over my fears I just don’t know how
After my relationship with a guy who pressured me into things, I met my girlfriend. But for a bit I was afraid I might just be straight. I planned to test any men I dated by setting a small, seemingly insignificant boundary and seeing if they respect it. That’s what I would have done. Also I began really listening to my intuition. I don’t trust most men, but I can trust myself and that’s what matters.
You have to be able to trust yourself to know when to leave a relationship. You like have to hold yourself more of accountable because when you were younger you allowed more but now is different since you’re older. I come from the same place (kinda) I’m a junior in college and my last relationship was in HS. I think what I have done is my best to not let myself get too ahead nor to far behind and definitely know what is right and wrong.. because a relationship should never be icky
