as someone who’s more reformed baptist that would make me crash out so hard 😭😭no way you’re trying to put your doctrine on MY child WHO IS NOT EVEN BORN YET. like lady you’ve already had your kids and raised them how you wanted to. I’m also pregnant and even the thought has me seething

I HAVENT YET WE JUST HAD THE BABY SHOWER THIS WEEKEND 😭 she gave us the shawl & told my husband she wants the baby to be christened as Methodist when he’s a month old and her pastor has already agreed to do it 😭😭

Methodists baptize babies & baptists see it as a ceremony to wash away sin & it’s considered a personal choice. Why would I wash away the sin of someone who isn’t capable of sinning 😭 idk it’s more his grandma thinking she can make decisions for my child than anything tbh
