Depends if you have a degree but I won’t say anything less than $20 previous jobs were 18$ but I was still a college student

They WANT people to undersell themselves so they don’t have to pay as much as they planned. I’m sure But it’s so hard to find the sweet spot between underselling yourself and so high they won’t hire

exactly!! i honestly think it’s better to go high because that’s not enough of a reason to not hire you if you’re an otherwise good candidate. like they would probably just tell you that they don’t typically go that high. but i don’t wanna embarrass myself by giving a number that’s way out of their rage 😭

Pay is muchhh lower here. No one is making $18 as a college student here cause minimum wage is $7.25.

I just put open to negotiation on the application😭. We’ll talk in person if they reach out. I’m lookin at other similar jobs to get the pay range to get an estimate

That’s federal minimum wage. Some states chose to make their state wage higher but a handful of states haven’t changed since that minumum wage got put in effect in 2009 💀
