Oh it’s a fantastic one! He’s got quite a few of them just because of exposure through family. I think it’s real cute because it’s not something he does consciously, just part of the way he speaks. A good amount of his family on his dad’s side is from Wales, so he calls me “pet” as a term of endearment and it just makes me giggle 😊

It’s also kinda neat since he can speak a little bit of welsh, not fluent but a decent amount if he needs to, so hearing that in his accent is honestly just plain interesting. Mind you the part of his family that’s from Wales is mostly from more English-speaking places like Cardiff/Splott but he has picked some up, often travel-based since we’ve driven through there on vacation and he was able to use it a bit.
