i agree girl talk lacks nuance a lot of the time but there are some really well read and genuinely informed individuals here and thats commendable

Anti-intellectualism (and pseudo-intellectualism) will unfortunately be found in every corner of the internet and every area of human discourse. It’s human nature, and it’s always been around, we just haven’t always heard about it. I will say that I think it’s gotten a lot more rampant this century though.
