A person can be ugly regardless of what they look like. Predators are ugly full stop, it doesn’t matter if they’re conventionally attractive or not

it has a connotation with appearance. i think you can clarify that you’re referring to how they act if you call someone ugly, but it’s not always clear, especially when it’s used to refer to women
