No they bought it for me as a Christmas gift because I saw it in a store earlier last year and said I liked it. I about cried when they pulled it out again lol

Also they’re going to propose later when they graduate med school, this was for us and when they get me an official ring we’ll announce it to our families and start planning the wedding! It’s not traditional but it brings us both a lot of joy
