I’m can understand the casting if like they also made Hermione black or even made Harry mixed like everyone was doing fan art during covid. But ONLY snape? Weird.. it just tugs on white savior complexes to feel bad for him in more ‘I’m sorry’ way then generally just seeing a little boy get bullied for being poor and antisocial. What does that say for the POC communities? We SHOULD assume that’s them? They are going to be terrible adults? Just remove race and leave it be, to many mix signals

Genuinely confused me, like wizard racism with real racism doesn’t work out well. I get having representation since the movies lacked a lot of genuine diversity including the books. But there’s a good hand full of black characters to throw in if they want to make this as book accurate as possible
