Set up streaming services with your student email, you get major discounts (also Amazon provides a free prime membership trial for students!). I’m currently paying $5 for Spotify premium once a month using mine!

Honestly I would talk to your school about it first because if you tell them your situation and they find out your family stops financially support you because of that, then they will most likely help you out!!
