Just be careful. You have every right to be able to go out and enjoy something you like alone. Don’t let her make you feel bad for that. She’s just scared for your safety.

Idk because it’s a campus concert and she brought up the fact that when she was younger they went as groups

I mean, yeah that makes it safer, but we all know that college campuses are not the most safe especially when you’re alone and if you are drinking. But I totally understand what you’re saying.

Oh, I’m sorry it does get really annoying when parents say things like that and they make us feel like we’re being weird. But there’s nothing wrong or weird with going to a concert by yourself, especially since there’ll be so many other people there that you could talk to.
