One of the things that frustrates me the most abt the British is they see US carnival/fair/novelty food and think that’s our part of our daily cuisine. Nobody is having bacon wrapped corn dogs on the regular and it’s like they don’t realize that

No but their fair foods are at times very locally based foods or like shit they have for dinner like meat pies

Fr. Our daily food isn’t even bad either - I hate when foreigners say it’s all poisoned and it’s the government’s ploy to keep us needing healthcare. I think it’s more of an educational and lifestyle problem, not the food itself (though I can agree that a lot of it has far too much sugar).

Tbh I think the problem with our food is that junk food is much cheaper than healthy food & government programs like WIC & SNAP cover far more when buying cereal & canned goods rather than the organic fruits and vegetables. Plus the restrictions on what fruits & veggies you can buy & the limit on buying “hot” food
