throwback to that one time i argued with someone in here cause i told them that their advisor telling them to just use chat gpt instead of asking them (said advisor) questions was stupid and a wate of their money 🫪 but they called me stupid and against progress 🫪🫪🫪

my freshman year i heavily relied on it and after that year i have never used ai to even help me with stuff bc i refuse to fall into needing ai to understand simple concepts i swear after a while it made me so stupid and unable to process anything

IMO if you’re NOT using AI in college you’re setting yourself back. Nearly any job that uses your brain will be made easier by AI and it’s better to know how to use it sooner rather than later.

Jesus Christ. I don’t ask AI for anything ever and every time I search something I put “-ai” at the end of it bc I don’t even want to generate an AI response. I have a brain for a reason and I like to THINK. Not going to have AI think for me.

Yeah it’s easier to pass a class because you’re not doing the work or actually learning anything. You have a brain for a reason and you should use it, otherwise you’re just wasting your time and letting AI get the education that you’re paying for.

AI isn’t smarter than us. It doesn’t even actually think. Anything that AI knows, it’s taken from existing human knowledge. AI cannot think. You can.

AI can’t think, but it can do everything that thinking does. It is also more knowledgeable than any one of us, which means it’s a no brainer to use it.

Using a calculator is fine bc you’re still actively in the process. And like I said, AI doesn’t think. It just has an algorithm that humans made for it to search through an information database
