Especially because a lot of the core audience for those kinds of shows are girls in mid teens to early adulthood. Just really icky.

From what I gathered it’s called something like “are you my first” so none of them are attached to their virginity, want to have sex, and are doing this willingly but I do agree that it’s a strange concept
