hey guys just found out my “boyfriend” took two days off during the week to hang out with some girl and pretended he was busy at work. Grown man with an office job using his PTO. And he had another one planned too. Nothing is real I am losing my mind

Dump his ass!!! I don’t usually say this but I would 100% that’s a huge break in trust and I classify lying about these kind of things as a form of infidelity, the same way lying about money is a form of infidelity

I feel crazy and like I can’t trust anything anyone says. I thought he was lying about spending time with his family or other friends to be doing these things but to take time off in the week is insane to me. And what do you mean about lying about money

I told him it doesn’t matter if they’re not having sex it doesn’t matter if there are no emotions involved if I can’t even trust that he’s at work in the middle of the week I can’t trust anything he says. I don’t think we can come back from this

Exactly, breaks in trusts are so hard to come back from and I can understand forgetting to update a partner on what you’re doing but actively lying about something is always wrong
