I agree. I honestly think some ppl look better with a bit of weight on them. I think a lot of ppl get so caught up in looking skinny that they lose fat and muscle at the same time and it gives a sickly look. You’re really supposed to strength train esp if you’re losing a substantial amount
110% yes!! Heavy emphasis on strength training, that’s so life-changing. I’ve gotten to a point where I’ve lost a ton of fat and muscle and have been told I look ill and weight training saved me sooo much!! It’s honestly the best, your metabolism gets faster, you get to eat more, you get a full figure and are able to carry heavy stuff. I don’t think I’ve looked better in my life and I’m not even at my smallest weight.
Exactly! But women often times are discouraged from strength training/weight-lifting in fear of becoming to “bulky”. Ppl really underestimate how hard it is to become shredded as a woman. You’re really not going to get that body builder/muscle mommy look unless you’re in the gym a lot of gradually increasing weights/bulking/eating lots of protein
So many people misunderstand this it’s actually insane! I was this exact way but then decided to give it a try and then I ended up achieving the exact look I wanted and not just looking like super boney and ematiated. Genuinely I think so many people would reach their looks goals if they weren’t afraid of lifting weights if anything it just evened my muscle out and made me look better! Not bulky
Yesss! At my smallest weight I did not look good. I honestly don’t think I started to look good until I came to college, I went through a second puberty, got a bit more of a curvy/hourglass figure but was also like a healthy weight bc I was cooking my own food and going on mental health walks
