I obviously don’t know context, nor tone of voice, so I could be totally off, but could she be saying it to the tune of “your position in the family” like do you have siblings, cuz my mom does the same and she isn’t saying “your my sister” more of just another way to call you or get your attention. But if she’s acting different then idk, again, if I’m wrong then ok👌, just a thought 🤔🤷‍♂️🙂‍↕️

yeah but that makes me feel worse in a way idk. im the oldest so when she calls me that it just makes me feel more like i really was the third parent. like she sees me as the aunt that helped with her kids and not het actual kid 😭
