“left wing” extremism is never actually leftist. it wraps back around to fascism with a thin coating of performative leftist ideology to seem different. the overton window has shifted so far right that advocating for fair distribution of resources is considered more extreme than a literal christian nationalist state

left extremists dont hold any power over the government or country, while right extremists do. even if left extremists ceased to exist, right extremists would simply make something up to be mad about and use that to justify further extremism
