I’ve been summoned! If there was a “best” birth control for everyone, we would only need one. We have so many options because different things fit for different people. If you want positive side effects with skin, Yaz is FDA approved specifically for acne treatment. It’s a combo pill. What else is going well or not so great with Opill that’s making you consider a change?

Bc has way too many side effects for me. Now I use natural method by tracking my hormones every day w urine test + temp every day with wearable thermometer

I have the Skyla IUD and I love her! I still get my period monthly and it’s neither worse/better. It’s the same as my regular cycle w/o an iud. It’s only three years too so it’s not a huge commitment

Honey that’s a hormonal IUD. It’s working by releasing synthetic progesterone.

yes there are hormones but a very low dose and the hormones are released only into the uterus doesn’t enter the blood stream that doesn’t mean it isn’t absorbed but very little actually gets absorbed in the body

Yes it’s very low dose, but not non-hormonal. Glad it’s working well for you! Informed consent is important and it sounded like you’d been given wrong info😥 Fwiw, the hormones are still systemic, but the main concentration IS in the uterus.

That one is hormonal and I had systemic hormonal effects! But everyone is different
