I know people who got engaged at 4 months & are still together, I know people who got engaged at 8 years and are still together. You just know.

you can think you know a person when you don’t. my parents were convinced they were soulmates, got together in high school, and got married in college. my mom said the longer that they were married, the more my dad’s mask dropped and he’s not actually who she thought he was. she stayed anyway for a myriad of reasons but she is miserable. they look happy in public though, you’d never know

Correct. But no matter how long someone is together for there is always a possibility you don’t truly know them. People are together for like 20 years and still divorce. People are married for however long and are still being cheated on for like 5 years. Time really doesn’t matter at the end of the day

yeah, marriage/relationships are ALWAYS a gamble no matter how well you think you know a person or how long you’ve been together. my whole point was that you never 100% know
