i can understand that but for me personally, i will be buying from ethical breeders because what i want in a dog is too specific to get from a shelter. most of them also have issues i am not willing to deal with as well. making people feel guilty for buying from ethical breeders pushes me away more from wanting to buy from a shelter to begin with. i’ve rescued before and after my senior dog passed i have decided to not rescue from shelters at this time going forward.

because they’re like “you’re so bad you’re buying from a breeder you should adopt from a shelter instead you’re evil.” none of that will convince me to adopt from a shelter. lol. my dog is from a very ethical breeder so people trying to tell me i’m evil in hopes of trying to push me to rescue another dog isn’t working.
