People who shallow enough to post or care what someone looks like online are sad empty individuals, and their opinion shouldn’t matter. Everyone is in a panic about meta glasses but at least they light up and you can tell if someone’s taking your pic.. you can’t tell if someone is “texting” or recording a video on their phone

the light can be covered up. the light can be disabled with tools, and there are videos teaching people how to disable the light. privacy is a human right. stop trying to normalize and downplay those

Yes girl I’ll go ahead and stop being ugly so there’s no chance of being doxxed for being chopped. Social media is the problem and these covert recording methods just enhance it.

Privacy is a human right- when one is in a private place with a reasonable expectation of privacy. When you’re out in public there generally isn’t a reasonable expectation of privacy, which is why paparazzi can follow celebrities and take photos all they want. It’s difficult to disable the lights on the meta glasses especially with the latest firmware updates. The light is also an optical sensor that can usually tell if you’ve covered it up. Most people don’t bother
