Trust me it’ll be ok. If you want advice on how to get through the processing of what happened you can dm me. I’m a survivor of DA too so ik what it’s like having an abusive partner and to survive it and get out. You are so incredibly strong and will get through this I promise

please know there are plenty of online resources, ppl (family, lovely strangers that are willing to help), yourself most importantly, and good energy from the universe on your side if u ever feel that you’re alone because you’re not. so unbelievably proud of u for being so resilient and taking the steps towards your freedom and what is right for u <3.

The legal process is long and hard I’ll tell you that now but it’s also so incredibly worth it. I always kick myself for not taking legal action against my abuser, don’t make the same mistake. It’s a great start that you guys no longer live together. A tip for finally cutting someone off is block them on everything and tell your friends you did so they can hold you accountable. Something else that helped me was having helplines and 911 on speed dial just in case I needed them.
