I just don’t understand how the same fans that ate up the Juno positions at every show are losing their shit about the album cover 😭

she’s saying it’s the only thing people focus on but her whole image is base on being openly and overtly sexual 😭 like idc what she wants to do and i don’t even listen to her music but i think it’s silly to say “that’s all they focus on” then have ur newest album cover be you on ur knees for a man 🥴

you’re proving her entire point with this comment💀 clearly there’s more to her based on the rest of her music but again, people don’t care enough to pay attention to the rest

obviously there’s more to her? it’s not like she’s gonna go from one sex position to the other for an entire concert?? nor do i think anyone else has that impression. but she’s obviously feeding into her own sexualized image with everything she does from the lingerie she wears during her shows to her album art to her music videos.

again, idc if she wants to do that bc it’s her choice and her image but i think it’s silly to blame people for saying she’s overly sexualized when she’s literally on stage lingerie the entire performance 😭

well yes but her choosing to have somewhat of a sexual image doesn’t mean people get the right to say that’s ALL she does when it’s their fault they don’t pay attention to anything else. that’s my point

like, if she doesn’t want people to only focus on the sexual aspects then why use that album cover or make it a trend to go into sex positions in lingerie on stage 😭

tbf the only lingerie costume is for the first portion of the show 😭 the other 2 outfits she wears aren’t. and the sex positions are literally like 2 seconds of the show. that’s her point, is that it’s not the majority of the show that she’s doing these things yet it’s all people care about

it’s not really somewhat of her image it’s kinda all she’s doing. which, again, idc and more power to her! but she can’t expect people to not be focused on that when that’s the content and imagery she’s promoting

except it’s again, not all she’s doing. on short n sweet only 2 maybe 3 songs are blatantly about sex

it’s also common knowledge that women’s sexuality is a taboo (obviously a taboo she’s playing into) so it’s silly to assume people would be more interested in her lil quips of humor over her doing a new sex position every night. like, idk, i just feel like she HAS to know what she’s doing w all of the sexual stuff and to complain that people aren’t seeing her as a dynamic character when she’s only promoting the sexualized version of herself is silly to me.

except the sexualized side of herself only came out for this era and like the end of the emails i can’t send era. people had the chance to see a different side of her and they didn’t so they can’t really complain because a lot of this is a product of THEIR doing. which, also, is the point of the new album cover. i’m not saying she isn’t feeding into it, i’m simply saying that a lot of the backlash is hypocritical

ok but her sexualized image is what made her famous and is what a lot of people know her for. like, sure it sucks that sex sells but if you use sex to sell then you can’t be upset that people don’t know you for your jokes or skits?? she’s purposefully creating a controversy w the image she portrays in order to get more engagement. idk. if she was actually offended by people not viewing her as overly sexual then i don’t think she should’ve gone w her newest album cover or continued to Juno trend

even her fans prefer the more sexualized version of her. which is fine. but she’s using that image to find fame then complaining on how she’s viewed.

her day ones also love “whoopsie just ran over a man with my car 🤪☺️✨” and “no one will understand the profundity of my loneliness” sabrina just as much as horny sabrina

sure, that may be true for a small portion of the people giving her attention right now. but she didn’t get thrusted into the limelight until she sexualized herself. and that’s the image she’s chosen to continue to promote.

she could’ve easily made this new album one about her humor or her melancholy or even made it gayer! but that’s not her prerogative. so if she chooses to use sex to sell albums. then she can’t be offended when the people buying her albums are focused on the sex.

She’s not complaining about being sexualized - she’s complaining about people complaining about her being sexualized. She’s saying the exact same thing you are. She loves being sexy but dislikes when people say all she is is sexy when she’s also an amazing singer and songwriter and comedian and dancer and actress etc etc etc
