Brilliant question honestly. There’s the whole point that the “woods” actually means “woulds” as in like what ifs, and I guess they explored their what ifs, but I’ve always felt that it was weird and out of nowhere

I thought maybe they were trying to set up the baker and Cinderella by taking out both of their SO’s, but that would’ve been weird and also didn’t happen
