I go through the same thing except I’m not shy I’m just reserved. It’s literally the same ones that will express to me how they liked me bc I was “quiet” or “laid back” (I’m literally not I just don’t act like myself in front of ppl idk) but get mad when they have to put in effort to get to know me.
