The main thing holding me back is that if he rejects me then lab will be kind of awk so that’s why I’m trying really hard to be his friend first

Also if I’m his friend then either 1)I’ll lose the crush but gain a friend 2)get to know him well enough to figure out if he’d be interested in me or not
