I am very big on sustainability and slow fashion and will fucking die on this hill, there’s way too much ending up in a landfill and u guys continue to support these microtrends and buy more and more shit clothing that’s why companies just mass produce a load of bullshit

Also yes I do buy men’s clothing but the issue is I am a very skinny woman and men’s clothing looks very boxy/weird on my figure or they fit strange bc it’s not designed for me but sometimes I find nice stuff

I personally HATE fashion since like 17-now. It’s tasteless and so bland. And even the “fun” pieces in stores are so trashy like yea YK2 is “in” but why did are getting handed the most fugly aspects of it. I LOVE LOW rise jeans. Urbana outfitters changed their cut lengths now (the best price/quality/cut jean I found) and the “low rise” is just regular rise now. Nearly a mid to my naval. Oh and fuck high rise. No one’s pants need to be up in the gut like that

OR a trueeeee 2000s staple was the cut baby doll type tops. Where it’s more a horizontal laid fabric bunched in the center on the breast, and then flowy and loose for the rest. YES I do see these around and they have the bows in front. WHERES THE FUNCTIONALITY? They were supposed to be made to tie around the neck and all these strong placements are wrong for it, bad fabric/too thin, or sewed down. Not even SHEIN had the true vision.

YESS DUDE I have a short torso and long legs AND CANT FIND LOW RISE JEANS! Theyre always marked as low rise but they literally aren’t!!!! Everything is high rise now and I hate it so much :(( I look like a goofball with anything high rise bc it looks like I’m wearing my jeans up to my stomach it’s so ugly— it’s so hard finding jeans that fit me properly. I’m so over the y2k stuff bc they can’t even do it right and it looks so damn tacky and low quality it’s insane that ppl even buy it —

I AGREE I HEAR U- theres literally NO FUNCTIONALITY and I bring it up so often but nobody hears me, why would u buy clothing with FAKE POCKETS, no proper ties to adjust or fake ones that literally don’t work, I 100% agree w you im so sad and people still think its peak fashion it’s so annoying i literally hate shopping now cuz i know everything will just be straight BS

Okay I will say….. Tilly’s has some fire ass OG workout sweats like the Regina George type velvet fabric. NOW I WOULD NEVERRRRRR sweat in that uegghhhh the feeling is nasty. But lounge wear? For more of the skater/sufer vibes. I love it. Which is also the style I like in jeans the Low rise with flare or like an OG Hollister cargo (I found a pair at goodwill 🙌🏻) like it’s sits ON my peak hip. Low I can see my lace for a good 2-3 centimeters on top I love it. Bring back whale tails
