arguing with bf about his responsibility in reprimanding a fellow club officer for harassing my bf’s ex gf who for some reason is in this club. I HATE MY LIFE!!!

I told him his responsibility is largely personal w the ex because she came to him to say hey man this guy is being weird. I told him that he doesn’t have to tell the guy all their business just that they had a prior relationship and that’s why she trusted my bf to tell him. just tell the guy that y’all aren’t trying to kill each other so he needs to be normal too. now bf is freaking out about his mandatory reporting responsibilities as a work study employee and even I’m getting stressed out

i would think his responsibility was also largely professional because he’s a club officer too. i don’t think he even needs to explain why she trusted him to tell him. just that he knows what’s been going on and it needs to stop

he did all that and he thinks he didn’t do enough and I’m like girl idk what to tell you if you told him to leave her alone you did your part. and he’s freaking out thinking he didn’t take it seriously enough

idk what else he’s meant to do because to my knowledge there’s been no escalation but the two of them hung out the other day?? like they got dinner together. and bf is so worried about having created this hostile environment and letting it occupy his mind on his very short winter break
