Lucky! Steak and eggs is such a great way to start any day, but especially as hiking fuel. It’s there with biscuits and gravy with sausage.

We’re in southern Oregon, and the hike was just off our property. It’s a real nice place, no neighbors for a long way and lots of great hiking spots.

I should mention by “our property” I do mean his family’s property lol The house was in his family for a long time (old family home that became a vacation house when others moved away) and it happened to be about a 45 minute drive from the college we both got into so his family was real nice and said we could stay in it. Made a lot more sense than dorms after all. We’re up in the mountains/hills so lots of good hiking spots.
