I have Nexplanon and I’ve had it for years, but I need to get it removed at the end of this year. How do they even remove it I have no idea 😭😭😭😭

They numb the area then make a little incision right where your scar is. Usually it takes just a little nudge for the implant to stick out and they just pull it out. Took a total of like 5 min or less. The only worry would be if you can’t feel the implant bc that would mean it moved. Overall it’s easy and just a small pinch
