I don’t think it was chicken, I picked it from the deli and it was breadcrumbed so i couldn’t see before

Yeah i have no clue what it could be. I knew it was off because of the texture, too tough to be chicken so definitely wasn’t fish

Might have been beef! It can get dark when smoked

When I smoke beef it turns more red-ish generally, maybe it’s a different process they use
