i mean true and that’s totally her call. but i don’t think it’s kind to criticize your family’s beliefs on a religious holiday for them just because you disagree. there’s a polite way to say you’re not interested in going but will spend time with them later. you can offer to organize a different family tradition or breakfast while they’re gone.
