All of my skin issues are caused by being a woman hence “severe adult female hormonal acne” and I just now realized every derm I’ve ever seen was a man

This right here is my point, women should be able to have women doctors. I’m looking for a new pcp and a derm. I want a woman pcp cuz my pediatrician atleast saw me naked, I have issues, but I don’t want a male doctor seeing me naked, I don’t care that his a doctor and it’s not like that. My mom’s brother is a breast cancer surgeon and I hate that his a women’s doctor as a man. My bf was all like I don’t see the problem my mom’s pcp is a man. Um no.

Like my father assaulted me, I don’t need more men seeing me naked. I have issues with men and I don’t care if they are doctors, I don’t even wanna marry a doctor yet I wanna be one. I’m looking for a female derm cuz hormonal acne, and the only reason that my dentist is a man is cuz he has been my dentist since I was a baby cuz he and my parents immigrated from the same place and they understood him and we haven’t changed the dentist since then. And his like my uncle.

Yeah I’ve never done anything where I need to get naked yet (even tho I should..) and I personally would not be comfortable at all with a man. I actually wouldn’t be comfortable period but a man would make it so much worse

My pediatrician would just make sure I don’t have lumps and moles and cancer cuz my family has a bad history of every illness known to mankind, cancer doesn’t skip a generation in my fam. So I would keep my gown on but she would have to see around the gown and peek inside.

100% agree, even with pcp like primary care physicians. They don’t got what I got so they simply cannot understand, end of story. I don’t understand how my family can live with the fact that my mom’s brother is a breast cancer surgeon, especially since in our culture a lot of women prefer women doctors, it’s cuz our religious requires that we cover and men can’t see unless it’s our partner or a doctor but the traditional culture we have is more strict.
