Ok but why can’t you be both a wife/mother and a working woman and mother. I just don’t believe in the choose one or the other when you can have both. Having a career doesn’t prevent you from being a wife or a mother.

my mom was the best mom and works full time. some SAHM (clarifying that it’s not all) think they are better because they “prioritize” their children more than working moms. that’s bullshit. one reason is because it is very hard to be a one income family. i also find that a lot of kids with working parents develop a better work ethic than kids with a stay at home parent because everything is done for them. basically you do you boo, having a career does not mean you are or will be a bad mom.

It’s also important to be self sufficient. Nothing wrong with wanting to be married, but you need to have a backup plan if anything happens to your husband / the marriage falls apart.
