anyone who switch from birth control pills to the shot how do you like it? i’m thinking of switching bc i don’t remember my pill anymore.

I’m gonna be so for real, as a pharmacy tech every pharmacist I have ever worked with has strictly advised us all to never get the shot and explained all of the reasons not to. Honestly I would try the ring or the patches considering they are weekly

Have you considered a ring, patch, implant, or IUD? The shot has added risks that are not yet well understood.

why not the shot? my mom had it and alot of ppl and i’ve heard good things ab it from their perspective but i haven’t heard anything from a medical standpoint.

i don’t want the ring, or iud i’ve thought about the implant but not sure if that’s the route i want to go. my family members have all had the shot with no complications so that’s one reason i was considering it. i’m open to the patch aswell i just don’t like how noticeable it is.
